UNWIND Adventure Yoga Retreat:

October 19-25, 2025

Nature and travel are incredible disruptors and portals for change. The UNWIND retreat leverages the energy and intelligence of novelty and nature so that yoga, breathwork and meditation can work their magic with extra potency.

Explore the natural playground of Sansara Resort,,, from the black sand beaches and empty surf breaks to the yoga shala (voted one of the world’s best by Architectural Digest) where Meghan and Paige will lead a blend of practices to bend both your mind and body.  Exfoliate layers of limiting patterns; meditate at sunrise, then plunge yourself into the Pacific, just steps from your room;  reveal your native spark.  Lose yourself among whales and waterfalls, and find yourself within playful yoga flows and transformative breathwork journeys.  Surf your heart and soul out.  Steep in the stillness of meditation and yin yoga. Emerge reconnected to what is most sacred to you.

October in Cambutal is waterfall season, and our adventure day will take us by boat along one of the most remote coastlines of Central America to Cerro Hoya National Park, where we’ll explore wild beaches with sea caves and tide pools, have lunch, and hike upriver in the jungle to play in a nearby waterfall and freshwater pool.  Keep your eyes open for sea turtles along the way!

“If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine.  It is lethal.”  Paulo Coehlo

Meet your hosts-

Meghan Khanna + Paige Loczi

Meghan and Paige are Recovering Perfectionists, each having played the overachievement game by pursing advanced degrees, hyper-fitness, high parenting standards and big jobs.  We are ever so grateful and proud of the six kids we have between us and the careers we created as a global finance attorney and a founder/CEO of a design firm… and we value just as much the pivots, free-falls and rock-bottoms  of divorce, loss, cancer and career change that opened us up to the potential for growth and change embedded in the practices that we love to teach.  We practice what we preach and know firsthand how yoga, meditation and breathwork can impact your body, heart, mind, spirit, nervous system, imagination and potential.  You could say that we drink our own Kool-Aid!  While our styles and approaches are our own, we both value the synergy of movement, breath, music and language, and take tremendous pride and diligence in crafting experiences that will inform and transport you.  We cannot wait to share our teaching with you, and welcome you to learn more from our individual bios below.

Meghan Khanna

Yoga and meditation teacher, breathwork facilitator, mindfulness and performance coach, mediator, lawyer and founder of UNWIND

I followed a good-on-paper, 4.0, type-A, safe and proven path to working as a finance lawyer—all documents and deal flows, rather than vinyasa flows. I retired from lawyering to full-time parenting with the same perfectionist and systematic mindset, until life events and the four gorgeous humans in my care showed me that I could be different— more open and authentic, accepting and allowing. Yoga was there just in time to encourage all of the above, along with meditation, breathwork, and all things related to wellness and performance.

Meghan consumed, practiced, studied, taught, and created, using the tools she gathered along the way. When she faced cancer, divorce, the loss of her beloved father, and the bittersweet experience of launching her young adult children, she became her own first client. Like so many, she found midlife to be transformative and gave herself the space to learn, explore, and expand her vision and potential. She dove deeper into practices she already knew while researching and experimenting with new ones.

When she felt ready to flex her agentic muscles again, Meghan reached for her professional past, bringing forward the intellectual rigor, strategies, and systems she once relied on to scaffold the mindful, creative spark she had uncovered.

And this is how UNWIND was born. Working at the intersection of the science and systems of human performance and the art and spirit of mindfulness and movement has fascinated her and transformed every facet of her well-being. Now, Meghan is passionate about sharing this synergy with others.

Paige Loczi

Connector - Conceptual designer - Synthesizer - Risk- Taker - Leo

Paige is an artist, a connector a teacher and perpetual student. As the Founder and Principal Emeritus of LOCZI design, Paige likens her role to that of a conductor, listening for the resonance -striking balance between intrigue and ease. She surrounds herself with greatness and does her best work when collaborating with others. Whether through designing a home or teaching a yoga class, Paige helps people realize their own potential by cultivating space, both within and beyond.

As an interior designer I create beauty and balance within the built environment. As a Geomancy practitioner and meditator, I attune to the natural world, bringing energy into alignment with the natural forces that surround us. Once harmonized, our environments can activate us, echoing our essence back to us through our connections. As a student, I am interested in structuring the ephemeral by tapping into numerous Matrixes, which helps to organize the cosmos, gaining inner access to our “place” within the worlds.

As an elite gymnast and professional dancer, Paige found her way to yoga with a foundational understanding of body mechanics and awareness. Yoga, however, demanded nothing and offered her a place of inner respite. It is with this practice that she came to enjoy the stillness within. She is inspired to cultivate this space for others, too.  Her favorite classes combine Vinyasa flow with Yin poses which allow a natural opening and settling within our nervous systems.

Paige holds a Bachelor of Arts from UC Berkeley, Certificate in Sustainable Design from UC Berkeley X, and an Advanced Certificate in Tao Geomantic 1: Environmental Studies from the Qi-Mag International Feng Shui & Geobiology Institute.

She holds numerous yoga certifications and has studied with the Sivananda Institute, Amrit & Kamini Desai, Jessica Kung-Dreyfus, Mary Jarvis, Lynda Caesara, Janet Stone, Jane Austin and Dina Amsterdam.

Surfing is the name of the game at Sansara - a saltwater gospel

Sansara is a surfer’s dream, with easy access to barreling beach breaks, rocky point breaks, slabby reefs, talented instructors and guides, and a diverse quiver of boards on site.

Ride the water and let the movement rock your muscles and settle into your bones, Try to take control and let nature take its course.   Stand yourself up, and surrender into the flow.  Look at the land you walk on from a different angle, and trust the forces that move underneath you.  Trust yourself to handle the thrill of the ride, and also the messiness - the tangled hair and water up your nose when your ambition takes you past your edge and the waves catch you when you fall.
